At Globe Trotter Model United Nations, our mission is simple: to empower students with the skills, confidence, and global perspective to succeed in Model United Nations (MUN) and beyond.
We believe MUN is more than debate—it’s about building leadership, diplomacy, and relationships that last a lifetime. By providing personalized training and mentorship, Globe Trotter MUN ensures that every student feels prepared, inspired, and ready to lead.

MEET THE OWNER - Tommy Paramo
I am a proud graduate of the University of Washington, where I earned a degree in Global and Regional Studies as the College of Arts & Sciences Gonfalonier in 2024. My passion for diplomacy and leadership began in high school when I first joined Model United Nations (MUN). Like many of my students, I started as a delegate at local conferences before stepping into leadership roles that eventually brought me to the national stage.
For five years, I have served as a Director at the National Model United Nations (NMUN) in New York City, the largest and most prestigious MUN conference in the country. My experience at NMUN has given me the opportunity to train, guide, and collaborate with delegates from across the globe. Today, I am proud to bring that knowledge from the highest levels of Model UN back to my home state of Washington, making world-class preparation accessible to local students.
Beyond MUN, I have also worked at the Washington State Senate in Olympia, where I was elected Party Leader in the Senate Intern Program. That experience sharpened my understanding of governance, negotiation, and public service—skills that directly translate into how I coach students to succeed both in and out of Model UN.
Since 2020, I have been providing private tutoring, helping students develop confidence in public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking. At Globe Trotter MUN, my mission is simple: to mentor students into becoming confident delegates, persuasive diplomats, and genuine leaders ready for college, careers, and beyond.
